You have the right to know what information about you I collect and use and to request a copy of it. You also have the right to delete or correct this information. To do so, please email me at info@marymccauleyproofreading.com and write GDPR Access Request, GDPR Deletion Request or GDPR Correction Request in the subject line as appropriate.

Cookies

A cookie is a small piece of data that may be stored on your computer or mobile device. It allows a website to ‘remember’ your actions or preferences over a length of time. I use cookies to run my website and as part of my website analytics, through the services of the following suppliers:
  •  Weebly
  • Google Analytics
For further information, please see my Cookie Statement.

Keeping your information secure

It would be unwise of me to give detailed information in this publicly available Privacy Statement on the measures I take to keep your data secure. However, I can tell you that I take my security responsibilities seriously and that I use the most appropriate physical and technical measures to ensure your information is stored securely. I review these measures regularly.

In the event of a security or privacy breach and your information is at risk, I will notify you by email as soon as possible after I have discovered the breach, but no longer than the maximum of 72 hours required under Data Protection legislation.

Ensuring your information is accurate, complete and up-to-date

I do not hold more information on you than is necessary for the purpose for which I collect it. I try to ensure that this information is accurate, complete and up-to-date. If you wish to update or add to the information I hold, please email me at info@marymccauleyproofreading.com. In turn I may contact you by email if I believe that the information I hold on you is not accurate.

Length of time I hold your data

However, because I regularly work with repeat clients, I don't automatically delete your information in case I need it to work on one of your future projects. If you would like me to delete your information, please email me at info@marymccauleyproofreading.com and write GDPR Deletion Request in the subject line.
