I was delighted and honoured to be invited by the Society for Editors and Proofreaders (SfEP) to present a seminar, Marketing Tools for the Freelance Editor, at their 25th annual conference in London this coming September. In order to whet the appetites of potential attendees, I agreed to write a blog post touching on the subject of the seminar. I hope independent proofreaders and editors will find it helpful.
